Dennis Jones: Dennis Jones (The Samurai on the Door) has been in countless street fights both inside and outside the tough pubs and clubs where he works as a bouncer. He adapted his karate and tai chi training, using it as a base to forge his punching skills. The ability to hit hard in a street fight has allowed him to survive endless face to face challenges. |

Gavin Mulholland: Gavin Mulholland holds the rank of 5th Dan in Okinawan Goju Ryu and is the Chief Instructor of Daigaku Karate Kai and DKK Fighters in London. Having spent over 30 years in the Martial Arts, 15 of them ‘on the door’, been an instructor for one of the UK’s leading Close Protection companies, and lectured in Psychology for two London Universities, Gavin Mulholland has a unique perspective on the areas of combat and conflict resolution and the role of the traditional martial arts in dealing with them. Gavin has successfully trained ‘traditional karate’ students to fight in the Cage and was inaugurated into the Combat Hall of Fame in 2002. |

This seminar will cover a selection of fundamental skills from the C2: Core Combatives concept model and the Morris method and focus on the most high percentage tools and tactics that can be utilised instinctively under pressure. Subjects will include: Generating explosive repeatable impact spontaneously, Programming efficient an instinctive target-tool acquisition, Effective anti-grappling techniques and tactics. |
