The Bourne action star goes Underground for Seni.

Joey Ansah is a rising star in the British action movie arena and is best known for his incredible fight with Matt Damon in the smash-hit blockbuster ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’. The fight scene is being hailed as an instant classic and is winning awards at all the major ceremonies for its hardcore realism and edge of the seat tension. Joey is a genuine martial artist and actor who, after specialising in Ninjitsu, has cross-trained in boxing, JKD, escrima, Kali, aikido, wing chun and Capoeira (Angola and Regional) hence his superb acrobatic ability. Since finishing ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’, Joey has starred in the independent British martial arts movie ‘Underground’ which is screening on the Sunday at Seni and as an added bonus, Joey will be taking a free workshop on the same day, highlighting the stunts and fight choreography that has seen his fight with Matt Damon voted ‘best of year’ for 2007. Joey says of the workshop-“I will implement some of the choreography from the fight and short sequences in the "Bourne" style of fighting. I will also give a master class on do's and dont's of choreography and general tips and advice, regarding basic techniques, extension, selling hits and intention and the use and misuse of acrobatic big moves. I will also aim to demonstrate the side somersault out of a wrist lock move that I used against Jason Bourne, so everyone can see that I did it for real!”
