2007 saw a new home for Seni with the move to London 's Excel in one of the capitals Olympic host boroughs and with all Olympic Combat Sports taking place at Excel in 2012 there was no option but to give all visitors the opportunity to see what 2012 has in store with the creation of an Olympic Zone in association with the London Borough of Newham and their 2012 Unit.

This new and exciting Zone is dedicated to youth and Olympic Combat Sport's and was packed with Boxing, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Judo and Fencing in the form of taster sessions and demonstrations across the Seni weekend, with Olympic Taekwondo Gold Medallist Michail Mouroutsos not only competing in a Masters of the Mat superfight but also heading a special training session and taking time to meet Taekwondo’s stars of the future.

2008 sees Seni enter its 10th successful year and to mark both this fantastic landmark achievement and to celebrate the Beijing Olympics, the show is set to be part of the Chinese governments ‘China Now’ festivities, so expect a subtle Chinese flavour running through the event. Similarly, the Olympic element will be positively reflected, celebrating the current Olympics and showcasing the fact that the UK will be hosting the 2012 Olympics.

To this end, Seni will continue to expand on the work started at Seni07 with the Olympic host Borough, to inform, entertain and entice the youth of Britain with regard to Olympic endeavour. Planned tournaments within this zone for Seni08 include Olympic disciplines Fencing, Judo and Taekwondo, alongside Freestyle, Karate and an All Style Championships, making ten tournaments in total across 4000sqm, 16 matted arenas involving some 4,000 athletes!
