The martial arts have a rich cultural history, steeped in tradition and nothing reflects this more comprehensively than the Classical Warrior Zone at Seni.

It is the zone that represents and reflects fighting arts originating from Japan, such as Kendo, Karate, Judo, Aikido and Ju Jutsu. Arts from China, such as a variety of Kung Fu styles, full contact San Shou, Tai Chi, etc and from Korea arts such as Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do and Kuk Sool Won. South East Asian arts covered include Escrima, Kali, Silat and European styles such as Fencing and Savate are also covered extensively in the Classical Warrior Zone.

The Classical Warrior stage features a non-stop extravaganza of incredible demonstrations across the full weekend, procured from the leading exponents and associations in traditional arts as well as some live showpiece events and bouts. These include Masters of the Mat, which features top exponents from Karate and Taekwondo’s in superb showcase superbouts.

As well as hosting possibly the most popular display area within the show, the classical zone presents many of Europe's leading martial arts suppliers in equipment, books, weaponry, etc and provides the opportunity to sample all the latest products, see traditional sword polishing or simply talk to the instructor from the latest DVD you’ve just brought- face to face.
